![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Pit Your turn to get in the pit with your thoughts about this review and CD I will say that the few slower songs/parts on the album were a bit Between the Buried and Me-ish, but other than that, this band has kept on with there original sound and I will tip my hats to them for Death of A Dead Day. I will say that I was severely impressed by this album. But not only are the vocals incredible, but the drums, bass and guitars coil together like a king cobra of music and strike with insane tones and riffs. Goodman and Justin Hill twist together deep, menacing speech with high screams and melody that could stab the heart of Superman with a steel knife. The entirety of this album says to any listener: "Hey, welcome to pain welcome to metal." I can't say I have heard such a great mix as played on this album. This album has to be one of the most random albums I have ever heard. In Death of A Dead Day, Sikth manages to punch your mind with off-standard guitar riffs with touches of harmony in the background while pounding your brain via bass-punching drums while piercing your ears with screams and gospels. After listening to Sikth's Death of A Dead Day haunting memories flowed back into my mind, but I liked it. My family did all three, but the last think we did was go into the haunted house. The orchard was running a little business where they would sell you a ticket and you could do three things: go in the "haunted house," walk in the corn maze and ride the tractor to pick apples. The apple orchard had a small barn and a stable with a cabin our front of it all. When I was five, I remember I went to an apple orchard with my family. ![]()
